## New Beach Destination in Dubai

Dubai Municipality has officially opened Khor Al Mamzar Beach, marking the completion of the first phase of the Al Mamzar Beaches development project. This new destination is now accessible to residents, tourists, and visitors, enhancing Dubai's leisure and tourism offerings.

## Vision for World-Class Public Spaces

The development aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to expand Dubai's beaches and infrastructure. The aim is to position Dubai as a top global city by 2040, focusing on creating high-quality public spaces that improve quality of life.

## Inauguration Ceremony

The beach was inaugurated by Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director-General of Dubai Municipality, with several government officials and community members in attendance. The event featured entertainment and interactive activities for the public.

## Enhanced Beachfront Experience

Khor Al Mamzar Beach has undergone significant transformation, including a 128% increase in the swimming shoreline to 3.6 kilometers. It also features a 300-meter night beach open 24/7, a floating walkway, and over 5.5 kilometers of tracks for running, walking, and cycling.

## Facilities and Safety Measures

The beach offers various amenities such as an outdoor gym, beach volleyball, and padel courts, along with water sports like kayaking. Safety has been enhanced with 12 lifeguard towers and emergency call points.

## Investment Opportunities

Dubai Municipality is promoting public-private partnerships by offering leasing and investment opportunities to businesses and entrepreneurs. This initiative aims to ensure the long-term vibrancy and sustainability of the destination.

## Part of a Larger Development Plan

The Al Mamzar Beaches project is part of a broader AED3 billion beachfront development plan, which includes other projects at Al Mamzar Corniche and Jumeirah. This aligns with Dubai's Quality of Life Strategy 2033 and the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, focusing on enhancing public spaces and urban infrastructure.
