## UAE's Firm Stance Amid Escalation
Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, has strongly criticized Iran following missile and drone attacks targeting civilians in the UAE. He described these actions as "moral bankruptcy" and emphasized that the UAE's firm and principled stance would remain unshaken despite the escalation.
## Missile Interceptions
The UAE Ministry of Defence reported detecting four cruise missiles launched from Iran. Three were intercepted over UAE waters, while one fell into the sea. The ministry clarified that the sounds heard in various areas were due to these successful interceptions.
## Strong Condemnation
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attacks as a dangerous escalation and a violation of international law. The ministry stressed that such aggression poses a direct threat to the UAE's security and stability. It affirmed the UAE's right to respond to protect its national security and the safety of its citizens.
## Call for Compliance
The UAE called for an immediate halt to these attacks and urged full compliance with the cessation of hostilities. It held Iran fully responsible for the attacks and their consequences, emphasizing that targeting civilians and infrastructure is condemned under all legal and humanitarian norms.
