## Recent Interception

On May 4, 2026, the UAE's air defence systems successfully intercepted a total of 12 ballistic missiles, three cruise missiles, and four drones. These projectiles were launched from Iran, resulting in three individuals sustaining moderate injuries.

## Ongoing Threats

Since the beginning of the Iranian attacks on February 28, the UAE has faced a significant number of threats. The air defence systems have managed to intercept 549 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles, and 2,260 drones. The ongoing attacks have led to 227 injuries involving people from various nationalities, including Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, and many others.

## Casualties and Response

The attacks have resulted in the deaths of 10 civilians from different countries, including Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Palestine, India, and Egypt. Additionally, three individuals have been recognized as martyrs, including a Moroccan civilian working with the armed forces.
