Abu Dhabi records 10,000 English notary transactions in 15 months

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has reported a significant increase in English notary transactions, completing nearly 10,000 over the past 15 months. This surge reflects a growing demand for legal services tailored to international investors and businesses.

## Supporting Global Business

The English Notary Services Bureau, a pioneering initiative in the region, provides legal services in English to both local and international clients. In 2025, the bureau handled 8,160 transactions from clients of 123 different nationalities. The first quarter of 2026 saw an additional 1,757 transactions.

Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, emphasized the department's commitment to developing a modern justice system.
