## Nationwide Security Campaign

Saudi Arabia has recently intensified its efforts to address illegal residency and border violations. In a significant week-long operation, authorities deported 14,855 individuals and arrested 11,300 others. This campaign, conducted from April 23 to April 29, involved collaboration between security forces and various government agencies.

## Violations and Arrests

The Ministry of Interior reported that the arrests included 6,244 individuals violating residency laws, 3,543 breaching border security, and 1,513 breaking labor regulations. Additionally, 1,330 people were detained while attempting to enter the country illegally, with the majority being from Yemen and Ethiopia.

## Legal Proceedings and Warnings

Authorities have referred 18,601 violators to their respective diplomatic missions for travel documentation, while 4,337 are in the process of completing travel arrangements. The ministry also highlighted that 29,913 expatriates are currently undergoing legal procedures. Furthermore, 14 individuals accused of facilitating illegal residency were apprehended.

The government has issued a stern warning that those aiding illegal entry or residence could face severe penalties, including up to 15 years in prison and fines reaching SR1 million.
