## Verstappen's Future in F1
FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem expressed that Formula 1 would feel the absence of Max Verstappen if he decides to retire. This statement came after Verstappen's strong performance in the Miami Grand Prix qualifying, where he secured second place.
## Verstappen's Recent Performance
The 28-year-old Dutch driver has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with Red Bull's progress and the challenges of the new hybrid F1 cars. However, recent upgrades have improved his car's performance, allowing him to feel more in control and optimistic about the future.
## Ben Sulayem's Perspective
Ben Sulayem acknowledged that while Verstappen's departure would be a loss, the sport would continue to thrive. He emphasized that F1 has seen many stars come and go, but the sport remains resilient.
## Christian Horner's Potential Return
The FIA President also mentioned that former Red Bull Principal Christian Horner would be welcomed back to F1. Horner, who was dismissed last July, is missed in the sport, and Ben Sulayem believes he might return.
