## Event Overview
Abu Dhabi is set to host the fifth and largest edition of the "Make it in the Emirates" event from May 4 to 7, 2026, at the ADNEC Centre. This platform is a significant part of the UAE's industrial strategy, showcasing opportunities worth AED 168 billion across 12 strategic sectors.
## Participation and Features
The event will feature over 1,162 exhibitors, marking a 42% increase from the previous year, and will cover 88,000 square meters. Key sectors include food industries, pharmaceuticals, defense, advanced technology, and future energy. The platform supports startups through a dedicated competition and aims to localize over 5,000 products.
## Strategic Goals
Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in collaboration with ADNEC Group, ADNOC, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, the event aligns with the "Operation 300bn" initiative. It aims to enhance local industrial capabilities, deepen value chains, and support companies in scaling and exporting from the UAE.

The event offers a dedicated platform for startups to showcase innovative solutions, connect with industry leaders, and explore growth opportunities. Startups can participate in workshops and sessions designed to support their expansion and readiness.
## Industrial Resilience Forum
In preparation for the event, the Ministry hosted the "Industrial Resilience and Supply Chain Continuity Forum" in Abu Dhabi, focusing on strengthening supply chains amid global disruptions. This forum is part of ongoing efforts to modernize the UAE's industrial sector and enhance its global competitiveness.
