## Community Support Initiative

Dubai is hosting a community-driven event called "Gift It Forward" this weekend, aiming to assist approximately 1,500 individuals. The initiative, scheduled for May 3 at the Pakistan Education Academy, seeks to provide low-income families and mothers with essential items in a dignified manner.

## Essential Goods Distribution

Organizers have prepared 156,100 diapers along with toys, clothing, household items, and women's accessories. The drive focuses on addressing practical needs and everyday challenges, particularly for families with young children.

## Community Engagement

Ericson Reyes, president of the Filipino Social Club (Filsoc), highlighted the initiative's role in strengthening community support and engaging volunteers. He expressed gratitude to the Community Development Authority (CDA) for licensing Filsoc, enabling them to operate within the community framework.

## Collaborative Effort

The initiative reflects the Filipino value of "bayanihan," or collective community support, and showcases the impact of coordinated efforts between community groups and local institutions. It is supported by Dubai Holding, CDA, Pakistan Education Academy, The Surpluss, and Filsoc.
