## Major Drug Bust in UAE

In a significant joint operation, authorities in the UAE, along with Bahrain, Dubai, and Sharjah, have successfully dismantled a cross-border drug trafficking network. The operation, which lasted a month, resulted in the arrest of 13 individuals of Asian and African descent. The alleged leader, an Asian national, was captured abroad with the help of Bahraini officials and brought back to the UAE.

## Seizure Details

The authorities confiscated a substantial amount of illegal substances, including 56.6 kilograms of narcotics, 8,159 psychotropic tablets, and numerous electronic cigarettes containing hashish oil. The total value of the seized items is estimated at approximately Dh3.3 million.
