## Global Reach and Impact
The Khalid Bin Sultan Al Qasimi Humanitarian Foundation (KSQF) expanded its child protection initiatives in 2025, reaching over 36,000 beneficiaries in Morocco, Mexico, and Zanzibar. The foundation's efforts focused on strengthening child protection systems to combat exploitation, violence, and harm.
## Strategic Partnerships
KSQF collaborated with international NGOs such as Plan International, Bayti Association, Aman Foundation for Childhood Protection, and Save the Children. These partnerships facilitated direct protection services, community interventions, and capacity-building programs.
## Focus Areas
The foundation's programs are structured around safeguarding, advocacy, and capacity building. Safeguarding initiatives aim to prevent harm and improve access to protection services. Advocacy efforts focus on promoting children's rights, while capacity-building programs equip communities with necessary skills and resources.
## Regional Initiatives
In Morocco, KSQF's initiatives benefited over 6,000 individuals through community mobilization and institutional coordination. In Zanzibar, the foundation supported over 1,000 survivors of gender-based violence. In Mexico, the Guardians of Children program addressed risks faced by migrant children, supporting around 7,000 individuals.
## Future Plans
Looking ahead to 2026, KSQF plans to expand its geographic reach and enhance its child protection initiatives, aiming to set new benchmarks in fragile contexts. The foundation remains committed to long-term prevention and resilience, working with global and local partners to safeguard vulnerable children worldwide.
