## Court Ruling
In a recent decision, the Abu Dhabi Family, Civil and Administrative Court has mandated that a father and son pay Dh5,000 to a woman they assaulted. This ruling follows a criminal conviction where both were found guilty of physically attacking the woman.
## Compensation Details
The court's decision came after the woman initially sought Dh51,000, claiming emotional and psychological harm from the incident. The court, however, determined that Dh5,000 was an adequate amount for non-material damages, including emotional distress.
## Legal Costs
In addition to the compensation, the court ordered the defendants to cover all court fees and legal expenses related to the case. This civil ruling was based on the prior criminal judgment that had already established their responsibility for the assault.
