## UAE Team's Medal Haul
The UAE Jiu-Jitsu National Team achieved remarkable success at the 2026 Paris Open Grand Prix, securing a total of 12 medals. The team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, earning five golds, three silvers, and four bronzes over the course of the two-day event.
## Day One Achievements
On the first day of competition, the UAE team made a strong start by winning two gold medals, one silver, and two bronze medals. Abdulrahman Abdulhaq claimed the first gold in the 62kg category, while Faisal Alwahedi topped the 69kg division. Ahmad Khalifa Andeez took silver in the same category, with Rashed Mohammed Alshehhi and Abdulrahman Sayedna Sayed Mohammed securing bronze in the 56kg division.
## Continued Success on Day Two
The second day saw the UAE team add to their medal tally with three more golds. Maryam Adnan Ali triumphed in the 45kg category, Balqees Abdulkarim in the 48kg, and Ammar Khalil Al Hosani in the 94kg division. Al Anoud Ibrahim Al Harbi and Saeed Hamad Al Kaabi earned silver in their respective categories, while Abdullah Ahmed Al Kaabi and Meera Hassan Al Hosani each took bronze.
## High-Level Competition
The Paris Open Grand Prix featured a strong international field, with many matches decided by narrow margins. The UAE athletes' success was attributed to their focus and ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.

Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, praised the team's performance, highlighting their commitment to technical excellence and discipline.
