## New National Fund
The UAE has introduced a Dh1 billion national fund aimed at bolstering key industries. This initiative, approved by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, seeks to enhance the country's industrial resilience, localize essential products, and integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into various sectors.
## Focus Areas
The fund will prioritize industries critical to national interests, such as food security and essential manufacturing. It aims to improve local production capabilities, build strategic reserves, and strengthen supply chains. AI will be a crucial component, aiding in predictive analytics and risk management.
## Supporting Local Products
In addition to the fund, a new policy has been approved to increase the visibility of UAE-made products in retail and online markets. This move is expected to boost consumer demand and integrate national factories into major supply chains.
## Expansion of In-Country Value Programme
The National In-Country Value Programme will be expanded, becoming mandatory for all federal entities and national companies. This expansion aims to localize over 5,000 vital products, further supporting the UAE's industrial goals.
## Upcoming "Make it in the Emirates 2026"
Preparations are underway for the "Make it in the Emirates 2026" event in Abu Dhabi, which will feature over 1,000 exhibitors from 12 industrial sectors. The event will introduce initiatives like a national quality infrastructure platform and a start-up center to support entrepreneurs.
## Strategic Vision
Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the UAE's commitment to establishing itself as a global economic and industrial leader through strategic investments and forward-thinking policies.
