## Starc's Return to IPL
Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc is set to make his return to the Indian Premier League (IPL) after being sidelined due to injuries. Cricket Australia confirmed that Starc, who missed the initial weeks of the tournament, has been cleared to play for the Delhi Capitals.
## Injury and Recovery
The 36-year-old left-arm pacer had been dealing with elbow and shoulder issues following a strenuous summer, which included a successful Ashes series where he took 31 wickets. His last competitive appearance was in January, playing for the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League, where he sustained injuries while attempting a catch.
## Impact on Delhi Capitals
Starc's addition is expected to bolster the Delhi Capitals' lineup as they aim for a playoff spot. Currently fifth in the standings, the team is led by Axar Patel and hopes Starc's experience will enhance their performance. Although his exact arrival date is not confirmed, he is anticipated to be available for the match against Rajasthan Royals on May 1.
## Australian Players in IPL
Several Australian players, including Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins, have also been managing injuries and workload, affecting their IPL participation. Hazlewood has returned to play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, while Cummins is expected to join Sunrisers Hyderabad soon.
