## A Unique Routine
Kaleem Gul, a Talabat delivery rider in Dubai, dedicates his evenings to caring for more than 70 stray cats in the Al Quoz Industrial Area. After his workday, he returns home to feed and tend to these cats, often seeking help from volunteers for more challenging cases.
## Building a Support Network
Since moving to Dubai in 2018, Gul noticed an increasing number of abandoned cats in his area. He connected with animal rescue volunteers through WhatsApp and set up a Facebook group to gather food donations. This initiative is supported by Amal CSR, which helps organize food donations and medical care.
## Community Efforts
Animal rescuer Sylvia Chandel and other volunteers, including Crystal Borhade and Emma Smith, assist Gul by providing food and coordinating veterinary visits. They focus on trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs to manage the stray cat population humanely.
## Nighttime Care
In another part of Al Quoz, Fathima, a homemaker, also dedicates her evenings to feeding and checking on stray cats. She often works late into the night, addressing cases of abandonment and seeking medical help through volunteer networks.
