Ramadan 2026: CDA rolls out initiatives to deepen family, community bonds

## Strengthening Family Bonds

The Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai has introduced over 12 initiatives for Ramadan 2026, aiming to enhance family and community ties. These efforts are part of the "Season of Wulfa" campaign, aligning with Dubai's Social Agenda 33 and the Year of Family.

## Educational and Humanitarian Programs

CDA's initiatives include educational programs, humanitarian efforts, and platforms for dialogue. These are designed to foster intergenerational connections and improve the quality of life in Dubai. The "Al Qare’ Al Sagher" initiative, for example, focuses on children's engagement with the Quran, enhancing their recitation skills.

## Community Dialogues

"Sawalif Al Mayalis" sessions are organized for men, focusing on family life and social stability. Meanwhile, the "Hamael Al Khair" initiative engages women in discussions on generosity and moral responsibility.

## Philanthropy and Cultural Initiatives

The "Gift It Forward" initiative promotes responsible giving, distributing over 125,000 items with the help of 55 partners. Additionally, "Khair Dubai bi Ahlaha" highlights Emirati entrepreneurs preparing Iftar meals, emphasizing community service.

## Inclusive Iftar and Eid Celebrations

"Iftar Dubai" brings together diverse communities, promoting coexistence and respect. Post-Ramadan, CDA continues with Eid initiatives like "Kanduret El Eid" and "Fawalet El Eid," preserving cultural traditions and fostering social bonds.
