## New Groups Added to Nafis
The UAE's Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (ETCC) has announced an expansion of the Nafis program to include Emirati spouses and children of Emirati mothers working in the private sector. Despite this inclusion, these individuals will not be counted towards the existing 2% Emiratisation target.
## Emiratisation Targets Unchanged
The quota for private sector companies will continue to be calculated based on current policies, which apply to UAE nationals with a family book. This ensures that the Emiratisation targets remain unaffected by the recent changes.
## Financial Support for New Beneficiaries
Eligible individuals from the newly added groups will receive a monthly financial support of Dh3,000. This move aligns with the UAE leadership's commitment to enhancing family cohesion and promoting social and economic stability.
## Program Framework Development
The ETCC clarified that the updates to the Nafis program do not involve reducing support for existing beneficiaries. Instead, the changes aim to develop the program's framework, expanding its social and economic impact while maintaining sustainability and job stability.
## Comprehensive Review
The revised mechanisms were introduced after a thorough review to balance the program's sustainability and widen access to eligible groups, ensuring that the program adapts to evolving needs.
