Rain, dust and rough seas: NCM issues unstable weather warning for UAE until April 23

## Weather Alert for UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a warning for unstable weather conditions across the UAE, effective from April 21 to April 23. Residents in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Fujairah should prepare for cloudy skies, light to moderate rain, and blowing dust.

## Weather Conditions

The weather disturbance is due to medium and high clouds moving in from the west. This will likely bring rain, particularly to islands, coastal areas, and the eastern regions. While most rainfall will be light, areas near the Hajar Mountains could experience moderate showers, increasing the risk of localized flooding.

## City-Specific Forecasts

In Dubai, expect partly cloudy skies with occasional dust. Temperatures will peak at 35°C, dropping to 26°C at night. Abu Dhabi will see similar conditions, with highs of 36°C on Tuesday and lows of 18°C by Wednesday. Fujairah may face heavier rain on Tuesday afternoon, with daytime temperatures around 28°C.

## Wind and Sea Conditions

Winds will vary from northeast to northwest, starting light but intensifying, especially in the west. This may lead to reduced visibility due to dust and sand. The Arabian Gulf will experience moderate to rough seas, while the Sea of Oman near Fujairah will remain calmer.

## Post-April 23 Outlook

Weather conditions are expected to stabilize from April 24, with clearer skies and temperatures returning to normal. The NCM advises residents to stay updated through official channels and exercise caution, particularly in mountainous and eastern areas during heavy rain.
