## Nationwide Crackdown on Illegal Residents

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior reported the arrest of 14,487 individuals violating residency, border, and labor laws during a week-long operation from April 9 to April 15. This coordinated effort involved security forces and various government agencies.

## Deportations and Legal Proceedings

Out of those detained, 12,554 individuals have already been deported. Additionally, 21,127 violators were referred to their respective diplomatic missions to secure travel documents, and 11,240 are in the process of completing travel arrangements.

## Illegal Entry Attempts

Authorities apprehended 1,382 people attempting to enter Saudi Arabia illegally, with the majority being Yemeni and Ethiopian nationals. Furthermore, 43 individuals were caught trying to exit the country unlawfully.

## Penalties for Facilitators

The Ministry warned that those aiding illegal entry or residence could face severe penalties, including up to 15 years in prison and fines reaching SR1 million. Vehicles and properties used in these activities may also be confiscated.

## Public Cooperation Encouraged

The public is urged to report any violations by contacting emergency numbers 911 in Mecca, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 996 in other areas.
