## New Hajj Regulations

## Penalties for Violations

Visit visa holders found in violation could be fined up to 20,000 Saudi riyals. Additionally, residents and overstayers performing Hajj without authorization risk deportation and a 10-year re-entry ban.

## Umrah Permit Suspension

In conjunction with these measures, Saudi Arabia has also suspended the issuance of Umrah permits through the Nusuk platform for all categories, including citizens and GCC nationals, during the Hajj period. This move is intended to streamline the pilgrimage process and maintain order.

## Enforcement and Compliance

The Ministry of Interior emphasizes the importance of compliance with these regulations, urging the public to report any violations. Emergency numbers have been provided for different regions to facilitate this process.
