## New Initiative at Zayed International Airport
Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport has introduced a unique initiative allowing UAE citizens and residents to explore the airport without needing to travel. This eight-week campaign offers access to the airport's retail and dining facilities, typically reserved for travelers.
## Registration and Security Measures
Visitors must register in advance to receive a digital security pass, which includes a QR code for scanning at various checkpoints. The pass is mandatory for entry and must be returned upon exit. Personal electronic devices like laptops and tablets are not allowed during the visit.
## Eligibility and Booking
The initiative is open to UAE ID holders, including both citizens and residents. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Entry requires prior booking, and any changes on the day of the visit need direct coordination with the airport.
## Parking and Payment
Visitors can enjoy up to four hours of free parking if they spend at least Dh200 and obtain a validation voucher. Payments at exit points are cashless, requiring bank cards. While shopping and dining are available, standard VAT applies, and the sale of tobacco and alcohol is not included in this initiative.
