## Increased Patrols and Vehicle Seizures

Dubai Police have intensified traffic patrols following incidents of dangerous driving during recent rainfall. Several vehicles were impounded after drivers were caught performing stunts such as drifting and sudden swerving on wet roads.

## Safety Risks Highlighted

Brigadier Jumaa Salem bin Suwaidan, head of the General Department of Traffic, emphasized the heightened risks of such behavior in rainy conditions. Slippery roads and reduced tyre grip can lead to loss of control and severe accidents.

## Legal Consequences

Offending drivers face significant penalties, with impound release fees reaching up to Dh50,000 under Decree No. 30 of 2023. Violations were recorded in areas like Al Ruwayyah and Lahbab, involving reckless driving and public disturbance.
