## Crash Details

A tragic helicopter crash in Indonesia's West Kalimantan province resulted in the deaths of all eight individuals on board. The Airbus H130, operated by a local company, lost contact shortly after taking off from Melawi district on Borneo Island.

## Search and Recovery

The wreckage was discovered in a dense forest area in Sekadau district. Rescue teams recovered the bodies of two crew members and six passengers, including one Malaysian national. The challenging terrain and thick forest made access to the crash site difficult.

## Investigation Underway

Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the crash. Debris, believed to be from the helicopter's tail, was found several kilometers from the last known contact point.
