## World Trade Centre Corridor
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced a new 1km bridge connecting Sheikh Zayed Road to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street. This development reduces travel time from six minutes to just one, accommodating up to 3,000 vehicles per hour. This is part of the World Trade Centre Roundabout Development Project, which will eventually feature five bridges, significantly decreasing delays.
## Al Qudra Road Expansion
A new bridge at the Al Qudra Road and Arabian Ranches junction has increased capacity from 6,600 to 19,200 vehicles per hour. The four-lane bridge in each direction has cut waiting times by 55%.
## Hessa Street Development
Phase I of the Hessa Street Development Project has widened a 4.5-kilometre stretch between Al Khail Road and Sheikh Zayed Road. The project, which is 90% complete, includes new bridges and will feature cycling tracks and additional intersections by mid-2025.
## Neighborhood Road Improvements
Residents in 18 Dubai communities are benefiting from a 13km road upgrade, reducing travel times by up to 40%. The project includes enhancements in traffic flow, parking, pavements, and lighting in areas like Al Barsha and Jumeirah.
## Al Asayel and Oud Maitha Streets Bridges
Two new bridges have been opened to ease congestion as part of the Oud Maitha and Al Asayel Streets Development Project. These bridges enhance traffic flow from Al Asayel Street to Al Wasl Club Street and Al Khail Road, improving access to Business Bay Crossing.
