Salik unveils Ramadan toll discounts to ease Dubai traffic

## New Toll Structure for Ramadan 2026

Dubai's toll operator, Salik, has announced a revised pricing schedule for the holy month of Ramadan in 2026. The new structure aims to ease traffic congestion by adjusting toll rates during peak and off-peak hours.

## Peak and Off-Peak Rates

From Monday to Saturday, motorists will face a Dh6 charge during peak hours, which are set from 9am to 5pm. Outside these hours, the fee will be reduced to Dh4, applicable from 7am to 9am and from 5pm to 2am. Travel will be free between 2am and 7am.

## Sunday Rates

On Sundays, the toll will be Dh4 throughout both peak and off-peak periods, except during public holidays and major events. As with other days, no charges will apply between 2am and 7am.

## Purpose of Adjustments

These changes are designed to accommodate the altered commuting patterns during Ramadan, which often include fasting, evening gatherings, and modified work hours. The adjustments aim to provide greater flexibility for drivers and improve overall traffic flow in the city.
