## Record Growth in Visitor Numbers

In 2025, Dubai World Trade Centre's hospitality division achieved a record-breaking performance, serving 1.28 million visitors across 2,578 events. This represents a significant 37% increase from the previous year, highlighting Dubai's growing status as a premier location for international conferences and exhibitions.

## Key Drivers of Growth

Major events like GITEX, Gulfood, and the Arabian Travel Market were pivotal in boosting demand for DWTC's services. The exhibition catering segment saw visitor numbers more than double, reaching over 240,000. Corporate and private events also surged, with over 600,000 guests, while weddings attracted 56,554 attendees.

## Strategic Expansion Plans

Mahir Julfar, Executive Vice-President at DWTC, emphasized the importance of hospitality in Dubai's evolving events industry. The organization is focusing on expanding partnerships, investing in culinary talent, and implementing sustainable practices to enhance service quality.

## Off-Site Catering Success

Off-site catering also experienced growth, serving over 160,000 visitors at 1,211 events, including prominent gatherings like the Dubai International Boat Show and the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This expansion underscores DWTC's role in supporting Dubai's dynamic business tourism ecosystem.
