## New Initiative by Zayed National Museum
The Zayed National Museum has introduced a nationwide community outreach program designed to engage the public with the UAE's rich cultural heritage. This initiative, titled "From Museum to Community: A Living Cultural Dialogue Across the Emirates," aims to bring the museum's collections and stories directly to audiences throughout the country.
## Engaging Communities Through Culture
The program features public dialogue sessions, interactive workshops, and cultural discussions. These events focus on themes such as heritage, identity, and lived experiences, connecting communities with cultural experts and archaeological findings that have shaped the UAE's history.
## Director's Vision
Nassra Al Buainain, the museum's Director of Learning and Public Engagement, emphasized the importance of community involvement. She stated that the museum's narrative is incomplete without the participation of the people, highlighting the program's goal to spark questions and foster dialogue.
## Program Highlights
The outreach began on April 9 in Dubai at Al Shindagha Museum, where attendees explored maritime heritage through discussions and live performances. Upcoming events include a session on art and identity at Alserkal Avenue in Dubai on April 19, and a discussion on the Bronze Age in Ajman on April 29.
## Future Sessions
The program will continue with sessions in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in May, focusing on the role of museums and cultural institutions in preserving heritage. The initiative will extend to other Emirates through June 2026, with registration required for all events.
