Dubai's RTA upgrades 5 marine transport stations with air-conditioning, Wi-Fi

## Upgraded Marine Stations

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed the second phase of upgrades for five marine transport stations. These stations, located at Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Fahidi, Bluewaters, Baniyas, and Al Seef, now feature air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and other modern amenities.

## Focus on Passenger Comfort

The upgrades aim to blend Dubai's maritime heritage with contemporary needs, enhancing passenger comfort and the aesthetic appeal of waterfront areas. Expanded waiting areas, additional seating, and dedicated entrances for senior citizens and women are now available.

## Safety and Accessibility

Safety measures have been improved with the installation of surveillance cameras and fire alarm systems. The stations also comply with the Dubai Universal Design Code, ensuring accessibility for all, including people of determination.

## Previous and Future Developments

This phase follows the successful upgrade of five stations in the Dubai Marina area last year. The RTA continues to focus on enhancing transport facilities across the city, making them more inclusive and user-friendly.
