## Babar Azam's Historic Achievement

Babar Azam, captain of Peshawar Zalmi, has become the first player to surpass 4,000 runs in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). This milestone was achieved during a match against Lahore Qalandars at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. Babar scored 43 runs off 40 balls, including three fours and a six, in his 105th PSL game.

Peshawar Zalmi batted first, with Mohammad Haris providing a quick start before Babar Azam and Kusal Mendis took charge. Mendis played an aggressive innings, scoring 74 off 48 balls, while Babar anchored the innings. Their partnership of 109 runs set a strong foundation for Zalmi.

Despite a late surge from Shaheen Afridi, who claimed three wickets, Zalmi posted a total of 173 for 7.
