## Court Decision
A Dubai Civil Court has dismissed a compensation claim of Dh360 million filed by a company manager. The court ruled the case inadmissible, as it was based on a decision from a special judicial committee, whose rulings are final and cannot be appealed.
## Claimant's Argument
The manager claimed he suffered significant financial and moral damages due to accusations of forgery and enforcement actions like asset attachment. He argued these measures were arbitrary and harmed his business and reputation.
## Financial Losses
The claimant reported losing annual business opportunities worth approximately Dh60 million, leading to the total claimed damages by 2026. He also mentioned an additional Dh68 million in disputed funds related to outstanding cheques.
## Legal Proceedings
The claimant challenged the jurisdiction of the special judicial committee, alleging it exceeded its authority by issuing penal decisions. He also raised procedural objections regarding the defendants' legal standing and the committee's legal basis.
## Court's Rationale
After reviewing the case, the court found the lawsuit essentially contested the legality of the committee's decision, which is not permissible. The court emphasized that such decisions are binding and cannot be challenged in ordinary courts.
## Outcome
The court dismissed the case, ordering the claimant to cover legal expenses and pay Dh5,000 in lawyers’ fees, reinforcing the finality of special judicial committee decisions.
