## Supporting Emirati Creativity
The UAE's Ministry of Culture has launched the fifth edition of its National Grant Programme for Culture and Creativity. This initiative aims to empower Emirati creatives by providing them with opportunities to develop impactful cultural projects.
## Programme Objectives
The programme is designed to foster a supportive environment for national talent, encouraging the transformation of innovative ideas into tangible projects. It seeks to enhance the UAE's cultural landscape and strengthen the country's creative output both locally and internationally.
## Categories and Support
The programme offers support across four categories: Creation and Production, Distribution and Local Participation, Capacity Development, and International Travel and Mobility. These categories cover a wide range of fields, including writing, music, film, performing arts, visual arts, and cultural heritage.
## Growing Interest
Since its inception, the programme has seen increasing interest from the creative community. The number of beneficiaries has grown from 26 in the first cycle to 41 in the fourth cycle, with a significant rise in applications.
## Application Deadline
Submissions for the current cycle will be accepted until June 26, 2026. The Ministry of Culture provides comprehensive support to help beneficiaries develop their projects, participate in cultural events, and expand their work's reach.
