## Event Overview
The Gulf News Edufair is set to return to Dubai from May 8 to 10 at The H Hotel, marking its 10th edition. This three-day event will bring together over 35 universities from the UAE and abroad, offering students and parents insights into academic and career paths.
## Focus on Industry-Relevant Education
This year's Edufair emphasizes the importance of industry-aligned educational programs. Universities are increasingly offering courses that blend academic knowledge with practical experience to better prepare graduates for evolving job markets. Canadian University Dubai, for instance, will showcase programs across various disciplines, including Business, Engineering, and Public Health, all designed with a focus on artificial intelligence and sustainability.
Similarly, the University of West London – RAK campus will present programs in high-demand fields like Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Business, supported by scholarships and study grants.
## Study Abroad Opportunities
The Edufair will also highlight international education options. Study abroad consultants will be available to discuss opportunities in countries such as the UK, Canada, and Australia. Y-Axis, a key participant, will provide guidance on visas, work rights, and long-term prospects for students considering overseas education.
## Participation and Registration
The event is free to attend, but prior registration is required. Key partners include Y-Axis as the Platinum Sponsor, ACCA as the Knowledge Partner, and Phoenix Financial Training as the Financial Training Partner.
