OPF rolls out scholarships for overseas Pakistanis’ students

## Scholarship Initiative

The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) has introduced a scholarship program aimed at supporting the education of expatriate families in Pakistan. This initiative, under the Overseas Pakistanis Education Fund (OPEF), is designed to assist children and spouses of overseas Pakistanis who are pursuing studies in Pakistan.

## Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the scholarships, applicants must have achieved at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 2.5 in their latest exams from institutions recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Additionally, a parent or spouse of the applicant must be a registered OPF member with a monthly income not exceeding Rs200,000. Students already receiving other scholarships are not eligible.

## Application Process

Interested candidates can download application forms from the OPF website or collect them from OPF offices in Islamabad and regional centers such as Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar. The deadline for submission is April 30, 2026, and late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
