## New Initiative for Property Buyers
Little Barons Club, a private members club in Dubai, has announced a new initiative to cover Dubai Land Department (DLD) registration fees for its members purchasing off-plan properties. This fee, which can reach up to 4% of the property's value, is typically a significant cost for buyers.
## Membership Benefits
For an annual fee of Dh10,000, members can benefit from the club's offer to cover the DLD fees, regardless of the developer or project. This initiative is part of a broader package that includes negotiating reduced down payments and assisting with bank financing at handover.
## Target Audience
The club is particularly targeting international buyers, who make up about 40% of Dubai's property market. These buyers often face challenges with local transaction costs, and the club aims to provide them with better terms through its membership.
## Market Context
In 2025, off-plan transactions represented about 72% of the 215,000 property sales in Dubai. Despite the large market, no other brokers currently offer to cover DLD fees as a standard benefit. Little Barons' approach could change the landscape of property transactions in the emirate.
