## Enhanced Travel Freedom for Pakistanis

Pakistani citizens are experiencing increased travel freedom as their passport now ranks 97th globally, according to the Henley Passport Index for February 2026. This marks an improvement from 98th in January and 103rd in the previous year.

## Expanded Visa-Free Access

The number of countries accessible to Pakistani passport holders without a visa, or with visa-on-arrival or electronic travel authorization (eTA), has risen to 32. This includes the reinstatement of The Gambia, reflecting successful diplomatic efforts to enhance global mobility.

## List of Accessible Destinations

Pakistani travelers can now visit 11 countries visa-free, including Barbados, Cook Islands, and Rwanda. Additionally, 18 countries offer visa-on-arrival, such as Cambodia and Maldives, while three countries, including Kenya, provide entry through eTA.

## Global Passport Rankings

In the global context, Singapore leads the rankings with access to 192 countries. Japan and South Korea follow closely, while European nations like France and Germany also rank high. Pakistan's progress highlights ongoing efforts to improve international travel options for its citizens.
