## Celebrating Humanitarian Efforts

In a grand ceremony in Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, honored the winners of the Arab Hope Makers initiative. This event recognized individuals whose humanitarian work has significantly impacted lives across the Arab world.

## Leading Winner

Moroccan humanitarian Fouzia Jbara Mahmoudi was awarded Dh1 million for her efforts with Operation Smile, where she has helped over 19,000 children receive cleft surgeries. Her work has been transformative in providing life-changing medical assistance.

## Other Honorees

Two other finalists were also awarded Dh1 million each. Kuwaiti humanitarian Hind Al Hajeri was recognized for founding Bait Fatima, a home for orphans in Zanzibar, Tanzania. Meanwhile, Moroccan influencer Abderrahmane Rais was honored for his initiatives supporting widows in debt relief.
