## India's Explosive Batting Performance
In the T20 World Cup final held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India posted a formidable total of 255 for five against New Zealand. The Indian openers, Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma, laid a strong foundation with a 98-run partnership. Sharma's quickfire 52 off 21 balls included six boundaries and three sixes.
Sanju Samson continued the momentum, scoring 89 from 46 balls, featuring five boundaries and eight sixes. Ishan Kishan also contributed significantly with 54 runs off 25 balls. Despite a late collapse, Shivam Dube's cameo of 28 runs helped India reach their record total.
## New Zealand's Response
New Zealand managed to slow India's scoring rate towards the end, conceding only 28 runs in the last four overs. However, the target of 256 remains a daunting challenge for the Kiwis.
## Historical Context
India's total is the highest ever recorded in Ahmedabad and the third highest in T20 World Cup history. The team aims to become the first to win the tournament three times, while New Zealand seeks to upset the hosts' plans.
