## Tragic Incident in Assam

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has confirmed the deaths of two pilots following the crash of a Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter jet in Assam's Karbi Anglong district. The incident occurred during a routine training mission.

## Details of the Crash

The aircraft lost radar contact on Thursday, prompting a search and rescue operation. It was later found crashed about 60 kilometers from Jorhat. The pilots, Squadron Leader Anuj and Flight Lieutenant Purvesh Duragkar, were identified as the victims.

Following the disappearance from radar, the IAF and other security agencies launched a search operation. The Defence Public Relations Officer confirmed the immediate response to ascertain the situation and verify the facts surrounding the crash.
