## Tragic Incident in Alexandria

A 65-year-old Egyptian man was killed while attempting to mediate a conflict between his daughter and her husband in Alexandria. The incident took place in the Al Wardiyan area, where the father was trying to resolve a marital dispute.

## Violent Altercation

According to reports, the situation escalated when the son-in-law allegedly attacked the father with a knife, inflicting multiple stab wounds to his head, face, chest, and neck. The father succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

## Daughter Also Injured

The son-in-law reportedly also injured his wife by cutting her hand before fleeing the scene. A witness, a 62-year-old electrician, recounted that the altercation began over marital issues and quickly turned violent.

## Police Investigation

Authorities were alerted to the incident after a report was filed at the Mina El Basal Police Station. Upon arrival, police and paramedics found the deceased man and his injured daughter. The body was sent to Kom El Dikka mortuary for a forensic examination.

## Legal Proceedings

Prosecutors have ordered an autopsy and are investigating the circumstances of the attack. They have also requested a medical report on the daughter's injuries to facilitate further questioning.
