## Exam Schedule Announced

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the exam schedule for the 2027 Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. Both exams are set to commence on February 16, with Class 10 exams concluding on March 9 and Class 12 exams wrapping up on April 9.

## Student Participation

Over 4.6 million students are registered for these exams, with more than 2.65 million for Class 10 and over 1.98 million for Class 12. Class 10 students will be tested in 83 subjects, while Class 12 students will cover 121 subjects.

## Preparation Time

The datesheet was released on November 6, providing students with 101 days to prepare. CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj emphasized the early release to help students plan their studies effectively.

## Considerations in Scheduling

The board considered over 40,000 subject combinations to avoid scheduling conflicts, ensuring no two exams fall on the same day for any student. Additionally, sufficient gaps between exams were provided for subjects commonly taken together.

## Coordination with Entrance Exams

CBSE also aligned the board exam schedule with major entrance exams for Class 12 students, aiming to complete board exams before these tests begin. This allows students ample time to prepare for both sets of exams.

## Logistics and Evaluation

The board has planned the timetable to minimize the time teachers spend away from schools for evaluating answer scripts, ensuring a smooth examination process.
