NRTC Group has launched a new Dh50 million facility named Taaza in Dubai's Jebel Ali Industrial Area 1. This 60,000 square foot facility aims to expand the company's capabilities in value-added fresh food processing.

## Supporting Various Sectors

The Taaza facility is designed to cater to quick-service restaurants, hospitality operators, retailers, and institutional foodservice businesses. It offers a range of services including fresh produce preparation, washing, sanitization, cutting, juice processing, and flexible packaging.

## Strategic Expansion

According to Mohammed Alrifai, CEO of NRTC Group, the new facility is a strategic move to integrate the company's food supply chain. It connects fresh produce sourcing with value-added processing and customer-ready solutions, enhancing consistency and convenience for customers.

## Advanced Processing and Packaging

The facility features semi-automated processing with options for customized vegetable cuts, portion sizes, and private-label solutions. It maintains high hygiene standards with segregated processing zones and temperature-controlled environments.

## Future Growth Plans

NRTC Taaza plans to expand into convenience-led food categories such as sandwiches, wraps, and healthy prepared meals. A proposed kitchen operation aims to produce around 2,000 meals daily, targeting quick-service restaurants as a key growth area.

## Strengthening Supply Chain

The expansion leverages NRTC Group's existing supply-chain network, which spans over 50 countries and handles about one million tonnes of fresh produce annually. This move is expected to enhance the company's product offerings and meet the evolving needs of the UAE's foodservice market.
