## First Name Revealed
The UAE Lottery has disclosed the first name of the winner of its Dh5 million second prize. The lucky individual, identified as Murugan, won the prize in a draw held on February 14, 2026. This marks the first time a resident has claimed the new second prize since the lottery's format change in December 2025.
## Speculations on Winner's Identity
The partial revelation of the winner's name has led to speculation that Murugan might be an Indian expatriate living in the UAE. The lottery operator has not yet released the full identity of the winner.
## Enhanced Prize Structure
The Dh5 million second prize is a significant increase from the previous Dh1 million. This change was implemented when the lottery switched to weekly draws. To win this prize, participants must match all six numbers from the 'Days' section, regardless of the 'Month' number.
## Additional Winners
In the same draw, two other residents won Dh100,000 each by matching five days and the month. Their names, Rasiah and Sankar, were also partially revealed. These winners were part of a total of five residents who received Dh100,000 in this draw.
## Lottery Overview
Since its launch, the UAE Lottery has awarded over Dh165 million to more than 800,000 players. The weekly Lucky Day draw occurs every Saturday, with each entry costing Dh50. Only UAE residents aged 18 and above can participate.
