## Holiday Announcement
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has declared the Eid Al Fitr holiday for private and non-profit sector employees. The break will commence at the end of the workday on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
## Duration and Compliance
The holiday will last for four days, aligning with the Saudi Labour Law. Employers are required to adhere to Article 24 of the executive regulations, ensuring employees receive paid leave during this period.
## Compensation and Work Requirements
If the holiday coincides with regular rest days or if work is necessary during Eid, employees are entitled to compensation. This ensures that workers' rights are protected while maintaining essential services.
