## Lakshya Sen's Remarkable Victory
Indian badminton player Lakshya Sen achieved a significant victory by defeating the world’s top-ranked player, Shi Yuqi of China, at the All England Open Badminton Championships 2026. The match, held at the Utilita Arena Birmingham, saw Sen triumph in a three-game thriller with scores of 23-21, 19-21, 21-17. This victory marks Sen's second win against Shi in their six encounters.

In other matches, India's Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto advanced to the second round of mixed doubles. They secured a win against Malaysia’s Hoo Pang Ron and Cheng Su Yin with scores of 21-17, 21-19.
