UAE weather alert: Cloud cover and scattered showers forecast across the Emirates

## Weather Forecast

The UAE is bracing for unsettled weather conditions, with the National Centre of Meteorology predicting cloudy skies and scattered showers across various regions. A noticeable drop in temperatures is also expected.

## Wind and Sea Conditions

Winds will vary from light to moderate, occasionally becoming fresh, especially over the sea, which may lead to dust and sand being stirred up inland. This could reduce visibility. Wind speeds are anticipated to range from 10 to 25 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 40 km/h. The Arabian Gulf will experience rough seas, while the Oman Sea will have slight to moderate waves.

## Temperature Outlook

Temperatures are forecast to reach highs of 34°C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, 33°C in Sharjah and Ajman, and 32°C in Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain. Fujairah is expected to see a high of 30°C, with Al Ain and Liwa reaching 31°C. Cooler conditions are likely in coastal and island areas.

## Extended Forecast

The unsettled weather pattern is expected to persist, with further cloud cover and scattered rain predicted for Wednesday and Thursday, particularly in coastal, northern, and eastern areas. Another temperature drop is anticipated. Winds will remain active, especially over open waters, keeping sea conditions rough to moderate.

By Friday, partly cloudy skies are expected to continue, with brisk northwesterly winds and rough seas in the Gulf. Conditions are likely to ease by Saturday, although cloud cover may increase again by night, with a chance of light rain in western areas and humid conditions developing in some coastal and internal regions by Sunday morning.
