## New Tourism Initiative in Kalba

The Ruler of Sharjah, His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, has given the green light to the Al Freish Lake project, a significant development aimed at boosting tourism in Kalba. This new recreational site will be located near Al Marsh Square.

## Project Details

The planned lake will span approximately 51,200 square meters and is designed to hold around 28 million gallons of water. The project will feature interconnected waterways, surrounded by a picturesque mountainous landscape with trees and waterfalls.

## Visitor Attractions

Visitors can look forward to a variety of attractions, including waterfalls, family seating areas, and water activities. Additionally, a 2.6-kilometer vehicle track will encircle the lake, providing a scenic route for visitors to explore the area.

## Broader Development Goals

This initiative is part of Sharjah's ongoing efforts to expand public recreational spaces and create family-friendly destinations across the emirate. The development aims to enhance the natural and tourism appeal of the region, contributing to its economic growth.
