This agreement is part of a broader effort to deepen relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Previously, they signed a Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement in 2025 and joined Turkey in the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement in 2026, highlighting their commitment to collaborative security efforts.
