CBSE issues Class 12 re-exam guidelines for UAE, other Middle East students

## Special Exam Registration

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released guidelines for Class 12 students in the UAE and other Middle Eastern countries who missed exams due to regional conflicts in March. Students can register for the special exams by filling out the List of Candidates (LOC) starting September 22, 2026. The registration deadline is September 26, 2026, with no extensions allowed.

## Eligibility and Requirements

This opportunity is available to both regular and private candidates in the UAE, Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Students should have their previous exam documents, such as the Admit Card and Marks Statement, ready for the registration process.

## Registration Process

Students must register online through the CBSE website. They need to provide details from their main examination, including their previous roll number, center number, and mother's name as listed on the Admit Card. An OTP will be sent to their email for verification. After verification, students can select the subjects they wish to retake from a list of 40 subjects.

## Important Notes

Upon successful submission, students will receive an Application Number, which should be kept safe for future reference. The marks obtained in these special exams will replace the previous scores. Examination centers will remain the same as those used for the main exams. CBSE advises students to carefully read all instructions and ensure timely submission of their LOC.
