Abu Dhabi is set to host the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice from September 26 to October 1. This event marks the largest gathering in the Congress's history, with participation from 97 countries.

The UAE is emphasizing the need for international cooperation to tackle cross-border crimes and the ethical challenges posed by advancing technology and artificial intelligence. Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, the UAE's Minister of Justice, highlighted the importance of collaboration to ensure security and justice globally.

## Abu Dhabi Declaration

A key outcome of the Congress will be the Abu Dhabi Declaration, which includes 18 articles aimed at guiding international crime prevention efforts over the next five years. Countries will have the opportunity to adopt recommendations that align with their national legislation.

## Youth and Women's Involvement

For the first time, a youth forum will precede the Congress, encouraging young people to engage in decision-making processes. Additionally, a special forum will focus on enhancing women's roles in shaping crime prevention policies.

Hosting this significant event reflects the UAE's commitment to fostering international dialogue on justice and crime prevention. The Congress will feature 33 ministers, 93 speakers, and numerous events, meetings, and exhibitions, underscoring the UAE's role in promoting global cooperation.
