## New European Destinations

Syrian Airlines is expanding its European network by introducing direct flights to Copenhagen and Vienna. The service to Copenhagen will commence on Monday, September 21, followed by Vienna on Tuesday, September 22. This expansion brings the airline's direct European destinations to three, including Amsterdam.

## Strategic Expansion

Omar Al Hosari, President of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Air Transport, stated that these new routes are part of a broader strategy to enhance the national carrier's network. The aim is to strengthen direct air links between Syria and Europe, providing more travel options for passengers, particularly Syrians residing in Europe.

## Operational Preparations

Launching new international routes involves completing various regulatory and operational procedures. This includes securing necessary approvals and coordinating with aviation authorities and airports. Technical and commercial arrangements, along with ground handling services, must also be finalized to ensure the routes are operationally ready.

## Future Plans

Al Hosari mentioned that efforts are ongoing to add more European and regional destinations to Syrian Airlines' network. Additional routes will be announced gradually as regulatory and operational requirements are met.
